FWIW, I've seen many T1's that are saturated and give similar results to slow or dirty links for some applications. Takes a lot, but it happens. _____ From: Lara, Greg [mailto:GLara@xxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, July 06, 2004 3:02 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Exchange 5.5 server directory updates http://www.MSExchange.org/ In this case, there's a dedicated T1 between the sites, so I doubt that's a factor. However, I will try deleting the directory connector and rebuilding it after the content has expired. Thanks. If this is the case, you'll have to break up the replication between sites. Doing so, you will clean up all the information about the other site, includind the dirty one. Wait a while (15 minutes is usually enough), and recreate the directory replicator connector between those sites. I got this issue a couple of times, and that solved the problem. I didnt figured out, anyway, what caused it, but it always happened when I got a slow connection between sites. The directory in that site does not reflect deletions of objects from other sites. There are quite a few mailboxes listed in the Global Address List of that site that have long been deleted from their respective sites. If I add mailboxes to other sites, those do show up, it's only deleted items that aren't being updated. I see no errors in the event log, and I've turned up diagnostic logging for the directory service to medium for replication. Anything else I should try?
