Hi All,

 

We have an Exchange 5.5 Server, (SP 4) + Win NT 4.0, with Exchange POP3
downloader (Third Party POP3 Downloader).

A user is getting this particular NDR message, when REPLYING to a message
from a specific account only, 

for Eg :-

He receives an E-Mail from EXTERNAL_USER@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, when he
replies to this mail he receives the following error 

 

From: System Administrator

Sent: Sunday, November 23, 2003 11:05 AM

To: 'najedpc@xxxxxxxxxxxx'

Subject: Undeliverable: Drawings of Najed Plastic cards Factory.

 

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

 

      Subject:    RE: Drawings of Najed Plastic cards Factory.

      Sent: 11/23/2003 11:05 AM

 

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

 

      'najedpc@xxxxxxxxxxxx' on 11/23/2003 11:05 AM

            554 Relay rejected for policy reasons.

 

But when he composes a new message to the same address mentioned above, the
E-Mail gets sent without any problems. 

This issue has started for another user as well now, it happens only when he
REPLIES to an E-Mail he received from a Hotmail account. He can send a new
mail to the same hotmail account without any problems, but he cannot reply
to only this specific hotmail account, to all other hotmail accounts it
works fine.
