Some dns setting must be done in your dns server and the isp's. There must be an MX record pointing to you Exchange mail server. You can solve this with your isp i think. -----Original Message----- From: Marvin Cummings [mailto:marvc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, May 29, 2002 8:48 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Exchange 2k newbie http://www.MSExchange.org/ - Re-Vamped! Clears my throat... Can anyone explain why I'm not receiving any external email on my newly installed EX2K box at home? I can send and receive mail internally with no problem, and I can also send to my seperate ISP email account with no problem. I'm just not able to receive anything externally. I have a DSL connection with a Linksys Router. I've opened port 25 (SMTP) and 110, not that I needed to. I'm guessing there's a step I'm missing. Any help is appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: robertb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
