You lose roll-forward recovery from the last backup.

 

I would recommend that you cleanly do a restart of the Information Store
service to ensure that all the required transaction logs have been properly
committed.

What trouble is caused if the Exchange log files are deleted before a full
backup is taken? One of the junior techs deleted most of the log files to
"free up space".
