Exchange 2003 is optimized for Windows 2003. I cant think of any reason to
install it on Windows 2000 given a choice.

Subject: [exchangelist] Exchange 2003 on Windows 2000 Server

Hi all,

I'm deciding whether or not to upgrade a Windows 2000 Server machine to a
2003 Server machine before setting it up as an Exchange 2003 Server.

Can anyone give me a quick run down of what I will be missing out on if I
don't upgrade the server to 2003?

This is only for a small organisation so I don't really need all the
advanced replication and authentication features.

Thanks, bye!
