Where are the GCs located?

I believe Exchange Enterprise Servers is created by the first
Forestprep. Exchange Domain Servers is created by the first Domainprep
in a domain. I'm most interested to know if they are universal groups,
local groups...etc.

Please don't delete the thread from the message. I already don't see the
original problem report.

Four sites, each with a DC, Windows 2000 SP4. No replication failures
reported by repadmin.

Exchange Server is SP3, DC, and FSMO god.

Not sure - they were there when I arrived. I thought they were
created by Exchange 2000 install?
