Excellent information there; thanks! I have attempted to contact them and have left three voice messages all polite of course, but no response from them. I will pursue the abuse reporting. I created a block on the router for SMTP from 66.137.184.1 - 66.137.184.255. Call them to stop. If spam continues, report them to their ISP, then up-stream provider, etc. 3) Oddly enough they are using Postini as their anti-spam system, so obviously they are not fans of receiving spam. 4) If your firewall is capable of ACL's and blocking IP addresses, then make note of the IP address(es) that the spammer is using to send email from to your email server and block them. However, if they are spamming you, then they are spamming other people, so report their activities to their ISP and up-stream ISP if their ISP is ignoring your requests. ...D ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSEXchange.org Discussion List as: bdtsb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
