Exchange 2000

I need to move Exchange 2K/Windows2K SP4 to new hardware.  I'm not sure that
Veritas restore will work, since the hardware is different.  Would it be
easier to build a new machine, then use the Move Mailbox to get the
mailboxes and public folders to the new machine?
