Therefore you aren't able to receive their emails right? Also check if
you have any events in the event viewer regarding the smtp service
first.

Don't know if you guys can help we have an external company who send us
mails with attachements but they keep getting the error below;
451 4.4.1 reply: read error from email.domain.com.
