The KB's talk about it as well as the help files (as I recall; it's been a long time since I looked) Basically, to open it in a web page, you need CDOEX type of programming similar to what you get with OWA to open the page. It's a lot easier in Exchange 200x to link to a public folder via the web (it's a selling point). To use a link that opens their Outlook, you would post a link like <outlook:\\Public <outlook:\\Public Folders\All> Folders\All Public Folders\NAME OF FOLDER HERE OR LONGER PATH> Same as you'd mail it. _____ From: Chris Wall [mailto:Chris.Wall@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 13, 2004 11:07 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Easy question - I hope http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hello all, I am running Exchange 5.5. My department has created an intranet web page for the user community to view. We have a team Calendar in Public Folders that is shared out for everyone in the community to view. How can I provide a link on a web page to a public folder? I do not want to have to just provide a path for them to navigate to. I would like for them to be able to simply click on a link that will either: 1. Launch Outlook and open the public folder location automatically or 2. Lauch a web browser that will display the calendar information. Can anyone assist or provide a KB article about this. I can not seem to find anything.
