Easy Question - Basics - I have to keep refreshing users pwords

Hi Guys,
I am running a Exchange 2000 server and every now and again some users try
to open their mailbox through outlook and they get a wrong password
message, even though it hasnt been changed.
To fix this, on the server I have been rechanging the users password in
Active Directory Users and Computers. After I do this the user logs into
Outlook with no problems.
Any ideas on what is going on here and how to fix it?
