Sav, I have run the eseutil /d to compress my E2k database. It took about 30
minutes or so, my database was about about 8gb and it got compressed to about
3.5 gb. This was done a little over a month ago and I haven't had any problems
whatsoever in regards to running this util.

If you read the documentation about eseutil there are no such things to say
until it works fine for you :P

Our Exchange2000 server is getting very close to the 16GB limit and I need to
run the ESEUTIL to defrag and compress the Databases. Does anyone have any
advice as this will be my first attempt at this and I would like it go as
smooth as possible. I have read the stuff on Microsoft and in books on how to
technically run the utility- but wondered if anyone had any real world advice
on things I should be careful of or watch out for.

Thanks
