I also thought that pst's and pab's could not be synchronised when they were 
made available offline...

First of all, we don't support PST files that are located on a network share:

You would be much better using an OST file as per the article.

in this senario the pst file lives on the network and an offline version is 
available on the laptop
now the problem is when you do any change and sync the pst this sync's the 
whole file
and you really get betten up when the pst is about 1 or 2 GB

i'm looking for some solution which can sync the incremental changes
