Hi, > I have worked with Exchange for several years now and defraging the > database was always a no-no. Recently I was having a discussion > concerning defraging SQL servers (Diskeeper does a wonderful job at that) > with an acquaintance and he mentioned Executive Software’s claim that > Diskeeper 9 can defrag an Exchange server without totally screwing it up. > I’m wondering, have any of the folks here had any experience with > Diskeeper 9 on an Exchange server? Since Exchange 2003 provides tools to do just that (eseutil and isinteg) I would hesitate to use anything else. eseutil seems to do a pretty good job on defragging. isinteg is for more extreme situations. best regards Mike Salim.
