Disappearing Mails

HeY Guys,
Your help is need, one of my user apparently lost some mails between a two day
period and I am not sure what happen to his mail box. I am thinking maybe his
mails got deleted, only some mails are gone.
How can I track what problem occurred?
How can I restore his mail box for that day?
I do regular/daily backups.
Just his mail box because no one else has this problem.
All help appreciated.
