From a newsgroup posting: "You need an AD user that does not have a
mailbox, then go to the Server/Storage Group/Database/Mailbox and you
should be able to reconnect the orphan mailbox to the user."

I say that same KB

Subject: [exchangelist] Diabled Account

Exchange 2000 server SP2 on Win2000 server sp2

We disabled an account yesterday, and of course, today someone needs to
get into the email of this account. I enabled the account back, but I
am unable to open the mail folder. I am getting the error of:

Event ID: 9548
Disabled user does not have a master accound SID. Please user Active
Directory MMC to set an active account as this user's master account.

I went to Microsoft and used Q278966 to no avail.

Anyone know of a way to get back into the disabled email?

Rob Freeman
