Delivery Receipts and Message Attachments

Exchange 2003 Issue:
When a message with a large attachment is sent with a delivery receipt
request, the DR is returned with the original message as an attachment
until the final MTA, when it is stripped off.
Does, anybody know how to set the DR to not send the original message as
an attachment?
