This also happens when I create Public Folders. The email addresses doesn't
get updated, even when the box 'Automatically update e-mail addresses based
on recipient policy' is checked.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Subject: [exchangelist] DL & email addresses

For some reason, when I create a Universal Distribution list in Exchange
2000, it doesn't obtain an email address. It has the 'Automatically update
e-mail addresses based on recipient policy" box checked. Even when I go to
'Recipient Update Service' and click 'Update Now' or 'Rebuild', it still
doesn't update the DL with an email address. When I create recipients,
however, they get an email address within 5 mins. How can I fix this?
