Connect Exchange 2003 to Outside

I installed exchange and everything is working fine internally, now I want
to connect to the outside so we can have the MX record start working. I
have 1 Ethernet port configured with an internal address and the 2nd
Ethernet port configured with an outside IP address from our DMZ. Every
time I enable the 2nd port, I cannot open up the Exchange System Manager
and Active Directory on the Exchange system. The error I get is "Naming
information cannot be located because: The specified domain either does
not exist or could not be contacted..." I'm able to open ESM and AD if I
disable the 2nd port. Any help would be great. Thanks

Javier
