Configuring Reverse MX Lookup

A little bird told me that if I enable my exchange 5.5 server to do a
reverse MX lookup, that it would cut out a significant amount of SPAM email.
Is this true?
If so - what do I have to do to enable that in Exchange 5.5?
Also - does anyone have any experience with MailMarshal spam filtering
software that they would like to share?
