Chris, To change the Routing Group Master, Go to Admin Group - Routing Groups - RGNAME - Members - Right click on the new server to be assigned as RG Master and selecte Set as Master. Is this a standalone Exchange Server or DC/GC/Exchange server ? What problems do you notice when you shutdown the first server ? All replication is configured and in sync. I don't have any connectors and not sure of the routing master, couldn't seem to find that setting, the RUS has been changed as well. -----Original Message----- From: Periyasamy, Raj [mailto:Raj.Periyasamy@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, February 14, 2003 5:35 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Can't retire first server after server move http://www.MSExchange.org/ Chris, Have you replicated all System public folders ? I rehomed and replicated everything I can think of, but if I shut down the original box our email doesn't work. I'm stumped, is there an AD change I need to make? ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: psraj@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: cmcnally@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: psraj@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
