See if the delegate also appears in the managers Send on behalf setting in AD.
Had a similar issue where a user had a stale delegate and would not remove. The
delegate did not even have a mailbox anymore. Saw that the delegate also had
send on behalf of for the managers properties. Once I removed it, the delegate
was removed in Outlook. This issue was creating duplicate calendar items.

I had this problem and I tried nvbvu32. I found the schedule folder it talked
about, but not an item listed with the schedule information. Instead of
potentially messing up a mailbox, I tried this most basic solution and it
worked great.

Namascarum, Raj!
I had the same problem here. Looks like your solution worked in our case. It's
odd that neither mfcapi or mvbvu32 could see it as a delegate rule or
associated message.

David,
Try this, add some other user as a delegate to the troubled mailbox. Save the
settings, restart Outlook. Then try to delete the Delegates, see if it works.

I tried with MFCMapi.exe following http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909638/en-us
and I could open the Message Store. I removed the rule representing the
delegates but when I open Outlook the sticky delegate remains.
The switch "/cleanrules" to start outlook neither works at all

Any ideas? None of you manage delegates?? I can't understand how it is possible
that so "big bug" exists.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

It's hard to say but I am unable to delete a delegate. I remove it but next
time I open outlook it appears again.
I'm trying to follow
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;253557 but Mdbvu32.exe
fails when I try to Open Message Store.
Is there another way to do it....?
