Batch e-mails

Hi Everyone,
I need to send push e-mails to my customers on a weekly basis. I am running
Exchange 5.5 on a 2K system.
What would be the most efficient way of doing this? We will be sending out
batches of 3000 or so e-mails a time (this is because Exchange can only
process 5000 simultaneous e-mails - please correct me if I am wrong).
I get the e-mails from an SQL DB and import them into a .csv file, then
import that into my Exchange box.
Any suggestions?
