You should exclude the directory that contains your Exchange databases and
the Exchange log files, you should also exclude the M:

i'm using nav 7.5 and sav 3.  what purpose to exclude the exchange directory
?
and if it does, how to exclude it ?

long as you exclude the exchange directory.
