You have to add it as a checked recipient policy before Exchange will
accept e-mail for the domain.

Subject: [exchangelist] Allow incoming mail for an external domain

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hello all,

I'm having a problem allowing users that used to receive email from a
domain other than ours.

For example: A few users need to be able to receive email from
user@xxxxxxxxxxx as well as our email: user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We are on Exchange 2000 with a Symantec Antivirus server in the DMZ and
then comes through a GFI spam server and then to our internal exchange
server.

Right now I have added myname@xxxxxxxxxxx to my email addresses list for
my myname@xxxxxxxxxxxxx account and I am getting unable to relay errors
when I send an email to from my external charter account.

Any ideas?
