Advise for making exchange available using OMA

Hello all,

I'm looking for a bit of advise as how best to approach the task of setting
up OMA for my PDA users.

The current situation is as follows:

We have a e2k3 (SP2) cluster behind a two tier firewall infrastructure,
currently OWA is available only to the internal corporate section of the
network, all external access to exchange has to be done either by means of a
VPN or dialing up to a RAS Server, then outlook or OWA. All email from
external sources is handled by SMTP gateway servers that forward internal
mail to exchange through a pinhole on the firewall

The approach I was thinking of was to commission an ISA server, not as a
firewall, but to sit in our DMZ and forward requests to the exchange server
sitting inside the Secure Corporate Zone for OWA and OMA. Then configure
the exchange server to do OMA type magic so that the remote users can get
their email on their pdas while out on the road.

I know I have a bit of reading and planing ahead of me before I get this
project underway, but if anyone can advise me whether this is a sensible
approach, or if there is a better/simpler way of doing this that I am
missing, I would certainly be very grateful.

Thanks

Graeme
