You can use the following syntax to generate the SMTP mail address
through recipient policy.

User Format String

Format String

Replacement String

Given name

Middle initial

Display name

Use %r to identify that you want to substitute one character for
another. The character you want to remove is listed after the %r, shown
by the x in the User Format String column. The character you want to
substitute is listed next, represented by the y in the User Format
String column. If x and y are equal, the character will be deleted.

Subject: [exchangelist] Adding additional email address' on account

Wonder if someone can help. I've got a child domain

that sits under the parent domain (with the exchange

server in it). I added a recipient policy in order to

give accounts with email address' in the child domain

the correct address. I now have

<alias> which is great. However I'd

like to add other address formats as default without

having to manually add them per account. For example

I'd like to add: <User logon name>

Do I add this to the recipient policy? And if so,

whats the method and syntax?

Many thanks,

Huw Jenkins
