hi go to your install-path (i.e c:\exchange) and have a look at c:\exchange\mdbdata there are 4 files 2 for the mail database of the user and 2 for the public folders *.edb *.stm what i often do is to compare 2 sizes: first the size of the database (mail) i the form i told you in this mail (just check the filesizes) and then i go to the system manager, to the mailboxes, export it to a *.txt, open it with excel and add every mailbox together. this size should be a bit smaller then the filesizes. if the diffenrece is to big between the mailbox-adding-method and the real filessize on your hdd you should make a database defrag with eseutil! this is how i do it Marco -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Marco Bustamante, [mailto:marco@xxxxxxxxxxx] Gesendet: Freitag, 12.
