ADSL connection

I have a satellite ADSL connection for delivering outgoing internet e-mail.
In the last 2 weeks I have been receiving undelivered messages that I
suspect are attributable to this weak/slow connection. Does anyone know how
I can isolate the source of the non-delivery.
