Dear all,

First many thanks to all of you for your help and support. I now have
internet access and e-mail again:-).

With regard to the firewall John, it seems very clear that I should add one.
I believe that the router has a built in one but I'm not at all clear how to
configure it. Does it make any difference that we are being provided with a
filtered feed from our ISP?

Our set up is very simple in a small school and we have no remote clients.

Regards

David S

Are you planning on adding a firewall?
