Yes, advanced is the new term for it.

It is the same media...you can take either approach and there is a lot to be
said for a clean install and then moving the boxes. I had an in-place upgrade
explode and it was very messy to fix.
The "upgrade" terminology is just for licensing purposes with the server
products.
