Well said, Jeff!
And this method accomplishes the important thing, which is that no one
person has control over (both halves of) the list.

The only flaw I can see is if too many people make posts to both
lists, as you and I have just done.  :-)
But even so, a few duplicate messages are a minor annoyance, not a disaster.
