The 7th Biennial International Conference of the Asian Association for
Lexicography is taking place in Kyoto, Japan, from August 22-24, 2011. 

 

There are going to be plenary lectures by:

 

- Professor Zafar Iqbal (President, ASIALEX; University of Management and
Technology, Lahore, Pakistan) 

- Professor Robert Lew (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland) 

- Professor Kikuo Maekawa (National Institute for Japanese Language and
Linguistics, Japan)

 

There are also going to be some 80 presentations, a few symposia, and a
workshop.

 

I would like to remind you that the early-bird registration and discount
rates are open until April 30, 2011.
