I just want to share an experience with all of you guys.
Yesterday I travelled down to the big city to pick up my share of the Meitzav
tests that I hope to mark during the Chanuka vacation. I prepared myself for
yet another "horrid" experience waiting in line for hours, pushing, shlepping
boxes from the building to the car parked somewhere out there in Petach Tikva,
and so forth.
ALAS! It all went soooooooooooo smoothly. When I told the girl behind the
counter my last name, she added (with a smile) and your first name is ANN,
isn't it ? Was I in Israel ?

I actually felt like I was in chutz la'aretz for a spell.
