It's a nightmare for many students to find the translation, since the words aren't lined up. I have a variety of easier dictionaries for my students to use, and after they get used to them, then they're willing to use the black one. Also, now since even a 3 point student is expected to write a composition, they really do need to learn how to use a two-way dictionary. By properly learning how, there will be less mistakes.
