[etni] Sanctions

Hi Everybody,
I just met with one of the Irgun reps who re-iterated to me that we really
should NOT be doing projects and literature. While there are discussions of
payment for this work, she said it hasnt happened yet. I brought up the issue
of what to do about the projects when the kids are doing their interviews (oral
exam). I didnt get a direct reply other than to be 'tough.'
In the meantime I thought that as we are the interviewers of the exam, why dont
we just all agree not to question the students on this portion and grade only
on the "interview." This way the students won't be penalized for not doing a
project.
I certainly have mixed feelings as I am sure you do --projects (while a lot
of work) are great for students to do. On the other hand - as the Irgun rep
said-- we must hold firm to get what we deserve.
