Of course they are intended for all types of evaluation and assessment and not merely the bagrut. In fact, we must try them out on the kids just in order to request them and get them approved! And what is the sense of doing something for the first time (operating a tape, having an oral tester...) during a final, national, matriculation exam?! ANd that is among the problems -- it is problematic enough dealing with these accommodations for tests -- but some pupils need/demand/ask for/ should have ..... the hatamot for every quiz . ANd now that we get paid for it, the advisers also feel freer about demanding it. It gets to be quite a burden and often out of proportion.
