Subject: ETAI Conference in Beer Sheva approaching...

Dear Colleagues,

The days are speeding by more and more quickly!  In just over a week,
ETAI will be hosting our Winter Conference in Beer Sheva, on December
5th.  This year’s theme is, “Truths and Myths in English Teaching”.

It’s a full day conference, from 8:30 – 16:30, to be held at Ben
Gurion University.  The exact location is Building 90, the Department
of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics.  You enter the university at
the northern entrance.

BGU is accessible by both train and bus, with a station right at the
university.  There is free parking at the university train station.
There is low cost parking surrounding the university and at the Soroka
Medical Center.  (The BGU parking lots are not open to the general
public.)

The full conference program appears on our website:  www.etai.org.il
Conference fees can also be seen in the program.  There will be over
20 publishers and booksellers on hand at the conference, so you will
be able to browse and buy throughout the day.

At this time, we urge all ETAI members to renew their yearly
membership at the old prices, as membership fees will be going up
slightly on January 1st.   You may pay by credit card.  Please contact
me at the office to do so.

We hope to see many of you at the Winter Conference in Beer Sheva!  As
in the past, Chanuka doughnuts (sufganiyot) will be served, courtesy
of ETAI.  A light lunch (sandwich, cut vegetables and a drink) will be
sold for 10 NIS.

With warm wishes,

Marna Snyder, ETAI Office Director
