In what other profession do the employees give up their lunch hour (we do
not even have one) or stay after hours to do some extra special work that
is not paid for, whilst their salary is really low already and they are
usually overworked to begin with(after hour meetings, big groups...)? I
guess we are a special race. Most of us do it since we would never dream of
putting a child in the position of further disadvantage, but we all know it
is not correct to work for free, we all work for money (as well as other
reasons) and we all deserve to get paid for our work. It is a problem that
I believe is here to stay, and all we can do is give ourselves a pat on the
back (no-one else will).
