At last somebody - Ruth - has suggested taking my suggestion seriously.
Create your own union. You will benefit. Israeli education will
eventually
benefit, and your students will benefit.
Don't undervalue yourselves. Don't think money is a dirty word, when
connected to teaching. There is absolutely no reason why teachers should
not have a decent standard of living. There is absolutely no reason why
teachers start looking progressively more haggard, as the school year
advances, culminating in a staff room of pale, exhausted human beings
populating the staff rooms of the nation.
