Two magazines worth using from pre-intermed and lower -intermed are Topics
Online Magazine for Learners of English (http://www.topics-mag.com ) and
Student Weekly (associated with the Bangkok Post): http://www.student-weekly.com
TOPICS, edited at Michigan State University by two TESOLers, invites
contributions by students from across the world, on many engaging issues,
including film reviews and much more. STUDENT WEEKLY has a number of readable
articles, student forum. It's oriented toward 'better' students in Thailand,
but has material, including 'games,' of far broader interest. Harder vocab
explained.
