LOOKING to TEACH SPECIAL PROGRAM OR COURSE:
I am interested in teaching special programs or courses in the area of
Kiriat Shmona/Tsfat. Most of you know me from my “Northern Explosure”
column on ETNI or my workshops at ETAI; for those that don’t: I am a
Canadian Israeli with an MA in English Lit. I teach in a Kiriat Shmona
high school and in two schools for gifted children. I have also given many
courses in spoken English. I have working vocabularies in Arabic and
Amharic and experience teaching speakers of both languages. If anyone is
interested in a special program for 4-6 hours a week in the north, such as:
Modern English Drama
Shakespearian Drama
Newspaper writing
Story writing
English through Beatles/ Pop Music/ modern songs
American and British Humour
