The 2nd Daniel Pearl Memorial Folk Club will take place on Thurs., Oct. 16 at
8:30 PM at the Biblical Zoo auditorium in Jerusalem.
This is one of many round-the-world events taking place over 10 days and in
conjunction with the family's efforts to keep alive Daniel's memory. Pearl , in
addition to being a journalist, was a bluegrass musician.
Performers include: The Bean Blossom Boys (bluegrass), Lynn 'n Judi Lewis
(country), Tarnation (bluegrass and old timey tunes), Unstrung Heroes (partial
ensemble....contemporary folk) and Laurie Ornstein (folk + MC).
