Dear colleagues,
With apologies for cross-posting, please be reminded of the Call for Papers
(attached) for the session "Afroeuropean modes of self-definition: Blackness,
Africanness and Europeanness in the making", that will take place during the
6th Biennial network conference *Afroeuropeans: Black cultures and identities
in Europe* (Tampere, 6-8 July 2017). The deadline for paper proposals is 25
February 2017.
This panel aims at contributing to the analysis of the emergence of Afroeurope
by investigating the production, circulation, and intersection of categories of
Blackness and Africanness, in everyday discourses and social practices.
