Hi Ger, The first thing to do is to install the NVDA 2013.1 release candidate version from www.nvda-project.org. This comes with the eSpeak Irish implementation. You can get the latest NVDA/eSpeak Irish patch from DropBox. This fixes some problems that are in the installed version. The latest DropBox version will be updated on a regular basis, approximately weekly. The documentation on how to do this is in DropBox/eSpeak/Documentation/espeak_nvda.htm Basically, you need to back up your espeak-data folder and replace it with the espeak-data folder from Dropbox. This will give you a later version of the eSpeak Irish implementation. Please explore the dropbox folders for Irish source texts. There is a separate set of documentation on how to compile eSpeak but this is more complex and not necessary for initial testing. Once you have the latest patch installed, please take a note of all words that are pronounced wrongly and let us know so that we can work to improve the implementation. If you would like to discuss this further on Skype please let us know.
