Join us for the 10th Annual CyberTherapy 2005 Conference: A Decade of Virtual
Reality together with the 1st International Conference on Applied Technologies
in Medicine and Neuroscience.

This conference was originally a specialized symposium at the Medicine Meets
Virtual Reality Conference featuring presentations that dealt mostly with
conceptual matters and future possibilities. The symposium has continued to
grow over the years in both size and scientific evidence and is now an
independent three-day conference. The 9th annual CyberTherapy (CT) Conference,
held in January 2004, highlighted the largest program ever presented on
controlled clinical trials of virtual reality and other cutting-edge
technologies in the areas of mental health, rehabilitation, disabilities,
training, and education. The CT 04 conference involved representatives from 19
countries, reflecting its truly international character.

The CyberTherapy Conference brings together researchers, clinicians and funders
to share and discuss the growing field of CyberTherapy. This year's theme
acknowledges the increasing use of interactive media in both training and
therapeutic interventions. Technologies include virtual reality simulations,
videogames, telehealth, videoconferencing, the Internet, robotics, and
non-invasive physiological monitoring devices. By utilizing technology for
training and therapy, we are able to improve existing protocols, and
disseminate care to a wider segment of the population. The Cyberarium will be
open on June 7th and 8th and will feature current research displays and
posters, exhibitors, and demonstrations of cutting edge technology.

This year, the Conference will be held at the Ramada Plaza in Basel,
Switzerland's tallest residential building! This first-class, 31 floor "glass
giant" features the Filou restaurant, the Timeless cocktail bar, and the
executive "SkyLight" lounge. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and
is adjacent to the Messe Basel fairgrounds and exhibition center. Local
attractions include the Basel Zoo, the French Alsace Region, Old Town, and the
Black Forest. Visit their web site at <http://ramadainternational.com>

Reservations are accepted by individual telephone calls made directly to the
hotel at (800-854-7854) in the US and Canada. Please visit their website at
https://ramadainternational.com/ramada/phoneReserve.mi for reservation numbers
outside the US and Canada. Please inform them that you are with the
CyberTherapy Conference.

Our plan is to have an enlarged Cyberarium area for those who would like to
submit poster presentations. If you prefer to present a poster, you will be
given a table and easel which will remain up for two days so that you can demo
your VR, robotics, etc. research, as well as display your poster on an ongoing
basis. Our hope is to attract even more funders than we did this year, so that
they can meet you, the researchers and leaders in the field, and you can meet
them and show them your work.

If you are interested in reviewing programs from previous years, they may be
