CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!

University of Toronto
Environmental Resource Network

The University of Toronto environmental community
coordinates a variety of events and projects every
year. Each initiative offers a unique opportunity for
students and student organizations to pool their
resources in developing partnerships. Unfortunately,
many of these student groups do not have funds of
their own to carry out large-scale projects.

The University of Toronto Environmental Resource
Network is currently coordinating an Environmental
Levy Campaign in an effort to ameliorate this problem
and we invite YOU to participate.

What is an Environmental Levy?
UTERN has proposed a 50-cent refundable non-academic
annual fee for all undergraduate and graduate
students. Students at all three campuses can access
these funds to assist in initiating and completing a
variety of environment-related projects.
Additionally, it will ensure that funds are put toward
projects that students want. Finally, it will allow
students to make a significant contribution to the
University community and environment.

THE SUCCESS OF THIS IMPORTANT INITIATIVE DEPENDS ON
VOLUNTEERS.
* Do you have excellent leadership and communication
skills?
* Do you feel strongly about improving your campus
environment?
* Do you like to network and meet new people?
* Do you want to become actively involved in the
environmental community?
