The Ontario Clean Air Alliance is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to
recruit, train, motivate and supervise volunteers who will distribute
its coal phase-out pamphlets at GO Train and TTC subway stops from 6
a.m. to 9 a.m. during the spring/summer smog season.

The pamphlets will provide the rationale for an early phase-out of
Ontario Power Generation?s dirty coal-fired power plants and an
objective, non-partisan, comparison of the positions of Ontario?s major
political parties on this issue.

Qualifications: A high-energy university student with excellent
inter-personal and motivational skills who can work independently.

Pay: $15 per hour.

Duration: This will be a full-time job, with flexible hours, during the

references to Jack Gibbons, Chair, Ontario Clean Air Alliance at

The Ontario Clean Air Alliance?s goal is to achieve a complete phase-out
of Ontario Power Generation?s coal-fired power plants by 2010 or sooner.
Our 78 member organizations represent over six million Ontarians.
