If you mean the items displayed in the panes' combobox dropdowns, well, they
work differently in 0.7.
They now function as semi-permanent bookmarks. Directories are added to a combo
history only when the respective entry is activated (by <Enter> press or
pointer-device double-click), instead of for each opened directory as used to
be the case. Directories present in the history are shown in the entry with
coloured text.
The other go-forward/backward histories will probably be used more now, and
those pop up automatically when your pointer hovers over the relevant button.
