I've not come across that sort of behaviour, though I have to say that I don't use that plugin a whole lot. At one stage, I forget exactly when, the ABI was changed in a manner which could cause the plugin to search in a manner other than what the user specified. IIRC that was fixable by deleting the cache file in ~/.config/emelfm2. But I doubt that's what you're describing. Is it possible that some unexpected match-condition is still in play, leftover from some previous search ? Nothing of significance has changed in the plugin code, for about 8 months. Perhaps some more clues from you will assist: * exactly what were you looking for, and what did you expect to find ? * in broad terms at least, what was the extent of the directory tree that took so long to process ? * in which 0.3.x version did you last have success with the plugin ?
